Music Soothes the Soul

Years ago, I wrote and produced music—largely shaped by Chicago house and the creative worlds I was immersed in through branding and marketing work. There’s nothing quite like hearing a track you built from scratch shaking a dance floor.

It’s been a while since I last sat down to create. Life evolved. So did my tastes, relationships, and perspective. Recently, it felt like the right time to return. I dusted off the MIDI controller, renewed my production tools, and reopened a vault of unfinished tracks stored away for years. To my surprise, most of them still resonated. That momentum led to something new. This spring, I began crafting an album—exploring different sounds, philosophies, tempos, and textures. Within weeks, eight tracks emerged that felt cohesive and intentional, marking a clear evolution in direction. The title and cover design is in progress, and the release is planned for later this year—digitally, and possibly as a limited vinyl run. After a long hiatus, I’m back in the lab—and excited to share what’s next.
